O'Maggio's Kildare House

Made the pilgrimage from Chatham to come to the Kildare house for my wife's birthday. We got the appetizer trio, and both got the halibut and chips. The apps were very good but I can't emphasize how big the serving of fish was! Look at those pictures! The fries are under the fish and are fantastic in their own right. I would highly highly highly recommend you choose the Kildare house for your next fish and chips hankering!

I love this place! Their menu is great! I've never been disappointed with my order. Lobster Mac has Real lobster and the portion was so big that it could've been shared with 3 people. Recently ordered takeout and got their award winning Halibut Fish and Chips. I got this on a Friday Special for a discounted price of $20. Included was fries, coleslaw, and tartar sauce. I was also able to add beer to my takeout order.

Very rustic and Irish pub-style feeling. Great drinks on tap, and. Menu you’d expect from compatible pubs.

I witnessed a situation with a difficult customer while I was enjoying drinks with my boyfriend and Lauren and Danielle handled it with extreme care and professionalism. They took it upon themselves to care for the parties involved and I was very impressed with the way jumped to action. They were capable of deescalating the situation with competency and compassion. Aside from that - Lauren & Danielle are always a pleasure to be served by.

Food was great, atmosphere is authentic and our service was fantastic! Kristey was so pleasant , friendly and smiling always. We really felt we were being taken care of with appropriate check ins throughout our dinner. Thank you :)

Decided to try the spicy crispy mac and cheese.The portion size was filling and the spice had a good amount of heat. Also tried the chocolate mousse dessert which was smooth and creamy. Recommend going during the St. Patrick’s weekend to enjoy a green beer!

Excellent halibut! I love this pub! I first came in here back in 2000 and I've been coming in ever since. I've spent a great deal of time in the UK and I feel this is the most authentic Irish/British pub I've been to in North America. The beer selection is always good and the food is top shelf. The service is great too, you can't go wrong in here.

Great pub, very expensive because if you go off the menu it will cost you more. Have to admit the food was very good and worth it but check out what the cost before ordering. My wife had the Halibut with fries which is at market price of $33.99, the best Halibut in the city, and a 6 oz glass of white wine costing $13, did not realize when I ordered the wine and that they would give you the most expensive Pinot Grigio, expensive for this venue. I had the blue cheese burger(18.99) and opted for a salad instead of fries which cost an extra $3.50. Very good but like I said very expensive. We will return but be more observant!
